As a junior:Â Sacks earned a pair of NAC Defensive Player of the Week awards throughout the season. He played in 12 matches in goal for the Chargers and went 9-3. He ranked second among all NAC goalies in wins, goals against (12) and goals against average (1.11). Sacks was named to the NAC All-Tournament Team. After three seasons, Sacks ranks sixth all-time in wins (18), fifth in goals against average (1.30) and 10th in saves (104).
As a sophomore: Sacks made six appearances and started five times as the Colby-Sawyer goalie in 2016. He went 3-1 with a 1.75 GAA and shared three shutouts.Â
As a freshman:Â Sacks earned nine starts in net and went 6-3. He recorded three shutouts and teamed with Sean Babinski in one other game for a combined clean sheet. Sacks ranked first in the conference with 13 goals allowed, second in save percentage (.787) and third in goals against average (1.35).Â
At Walt Whitman: Shane helped guide the Wildcats soccer team to a league championship in his senior season.Â
