WESTFIELD, Mass. - November 12, 2016 - The Colby-Sawyer men's cross country team finished in 17th out of 56 with 568 points to set program records in each category at an NCAA Regional.
The Chargers were the top North Atlantic Conference (NAC) finisher out of eight teams at Stanley Park on Saturdays.

Senior
Brandon Legendre paced the Chargers with an impressive 89th place finish out of 384 runners. He finished in 26:15.76.
On his heels, fellow senior
Scott Shaw crossed the finish line in 26:16.91 to place 93rd.
Freshman
Peter Bakker concluded his debut season covering the 8k course in 26:52.74 to finish in 119th.
Junior
Kody Frye came away with 123rd place in a time of 26:58.25.
Freshman
Benjamin Jones had a solid showing in his first NCAA Regional appearance. He finished in 144th at 27:20.52.
Senior
Travis Yandow (154th, 27:28.12) and sophomore
Bruin Smith (168, 27:36.44) rounded out the Colby-Sawyer competitors.
