Biography

As a senior: Jones garnered first team all-conference honors for the fourth year in a row. He finished third to help the Chargers win their second-straight GNAC Championship and fourth overall. Jones added two other top-10 finishes during the season. He placed eighth at the 2nd Annual Charger Invitational and ninth at Suffolk. In his final race, Jones led the team at the NCAA Regionals in 82nd place with a personal best time of 26:31.69. He earned one GNAC Runner of the Week award. Jones was named USTFCCCA All-Academic and added a nod to the GNAC All-Academic Team for the second year in a row.  

As a junior: Jones earned All-GNAC First Team accolades for placing 6th at the GNAC Championship and helping the team to a title. He posted three other top-7 finishes during the year including a 5th at the inaugural Charger Invitational and a 3rd to help the team win the Runnin' Monks Invitational. Jones was named to the GNAC All-Academic Team. 

As a sophomore: Jones earned All-NAC First Team honors for finishing in the top-8 at the NAC championship. Jones was the second Charger to finish the race and placed sixth in a time of 27:22.9 to earn his second-straight nod to the All-NAC First Team and help Colby-Sawyer win its second-straight conference title. Earlier in the season, Jones placed fifth at UMaine-Farmington and later finished 13th to help the Chargers to a second place out of 23 at Emmanuel. 

As a freshman: Jones collected three top-16 finishes in his first season. He saved his best performance for the NAC Championship where he placed eighth. Jones was the fifth Charger to cross the finish line in a time of 27:27.3 to earn All-NAC First Team honors. Earlier in the season, Jones placed 13th to help Colby-Sawyer win the Roger Williams Invitational and finished 16th at the Keene State Invitational where the Chargers were the runners-up. 

At Mascoma: Jones lettered in track & field and soccer for the Panthers.
