NASHUA, N.H. - November 20, 2015 - The Colby-Sawyer men's basketball team received a career-high 31 points from senior
Peter Donato, but the Chargers suffered their first loss of the season to Southern Maine, 98-89 on the first day of the Rivier Tip-Off Tournament.
With the loss, Colby-Sawyer drops to 3-1 and will play Rivier at noon on Saturday in the consolation game. The Raiders fell to Pine Manor 77-70 in the day's first game. Southern Maine improves to 2-1 and will play Pine Manor at 2 p.m. in the championship game.
The Huskies were paced by senior Cole Libby (Buxton, Maine) who had 18 points and received a 16 point night out of senior Jose Novchanthavong (Westbrook, Maine). Southern Maine also saw double-digit efforts from juniors Zach Leal (York, Maine) – 13 points, Atencio Martin (Kittery, Maine) – 12 points and senior Aaron Toman (Gardiner, Maine) – 11 points.
Peter Donato (Portland, Maine) led all scorers with 31 total points in the late contest. Donato was able to knock down 12 shots from the floor and went 7-for-10 from the line to account for all of his points. Senior
Wol Majong (Manchester, N.H.) continues his march toward 1,000 career points as he added 17 for the Chargers. Senior

Taylor Grande (Bedford, N.H.) chipped in with 13 and 12 points, respectively.
