The home team got the scoring started in the 8th minute when junior
Heather Faasse (Jefferson, N.J.) fed a through ball to senior teammate
Marion James (Willsboro, N.Y.). James was leaking down the center of the field when the ball came to her. She then ripped a shot into the left corner of the net for her team leading fourth game-winning goal of the season.
In the 24th minute, sophomore
Tallon Tomasi (Williston, Vt.) went over 30 yards with possession of the ball weaving in and out of Thomas defenders. Once she broke free of the pressure, Tomasi was able to find an angle and deposit the ball in the cross corner of the net. The goal was Tomasi's sixth of the season.
Three minutes later, the Chargers went in front 3-0 on senior

Michelle Upham (Chelsea, Vt.) was awarded a penalty kick after she was fouled in the box. Upham kept the ball low and to the right to score her team best 12th goal of the season.
Five minutes into the second frame, freshman
Kelsey Campbell (Upton, Mass.) scored her third goal of the season to give the Chargers a 5-0 lead.
