NASHUA, N.H. - November 19, 2010 - The Colby-Sawyer men's basketball team earned a 67-64 victory over Daniel Webster at the Rivier/Coca-Cola Tip-Off tournament on Friday evening. The Chargers will play Rivier at 2:00 pm on Saturday in the tournament's championship game.
Daniel Webster (1-1) will play Bard in the consolation game at noon.
The Chargers (1-1) were led by a double-double from freshman
Robbie Burke. He had a game-high 24 points and 11 rebounds. Freshman
John Roberts added seven points and 11 rebounds. Colby-Sawyer shot 45.5% from the floor, but an impressive 46.2% from beyond the arc. Sophomore
Corey Willis was 3-5 from downtown and finished with 11 points and four rebounds.
Daniel Webster was led by Chris Hanson's 16 points. Keith Speed contributed 14 points, while Eric Suarez grabbed nine boards and blocked three shots.
