Will Bardaglio's Last Second Three-Pointer Lifts Chargers to 71-68 Win over Daniel Webster

NASHUA, N.H. – November 20, 2009 – The Colby-Sawyer men's basketball team held on to beat Daniel Webster, 71-68 at the All Metals Industries/Rivier Tip-Off Tournament Friday evening. The Chargers will play Rivier on Saturday at 2:00pm for the championship. Rivier beat Anna Maria in the first game, 65-60.

Colby-Sawyer fought off the Eagles thanks to a three point shot by sophomore Will Bardaglio with six seconds to go in the game. Daniel Webster tied the game at 68-68 on a trey with 40 seconds to go, but Bardaglio was able to connect on his second three of the contest.

Colby-Sawyer had a half time lead of 39-29, but the Eagles erased the deficit in the second half behind 53.6% shooting and even held a lead with five minutes to play.

The Chargers were lead by a double-double from freshman Jason Chevrefils with 17 point and 14 rebounds. Senior Jon Chaloux tallied 16 points and seven rebounds, while fellow senior Dave Rosso poured in 12 points. Freshman Corey Willis had eight points and eight assists running the point.
