Biography

As a senior: Schuster was named to the All-GNAC Second Team. She played and started in all 17 of the Chargers' games. She was second on the team with 64 points and 13 assists. Schuster led Colby-Sawyer with 51 goals, four game-winning goals and 32 caused turnovers. She also was second with 32 draw controls and tied for third with 42 ground balls. In GNAC games, Schuster ranked fourth with 20 caused turnovers and was third in all games with 32. The 51 goals were good for seventh among all GNAC players. Schuster's most productive game came in a 15-4 win against Husson when she tallied eight points on five goals and three assists. Schuster ends her career ranked seventh all-time in points with 184 and seventh in career goals with 146.

As a junior: Schuster was named to the All-NAC First Team. She finished the season second on the team with 55 points, 39 goals and 16 assists. Two of her goals were game-winners against Thomas and New England College. Her highest point total came in the season opener when she scored five times and had three assists for eight points. She also collected 29 ground balls and 18 caused turnovers. Schuster ranked in the top-10, among conference players in NAC games, in three categories. She was eighth in assists (9), ninth in points (27) and ninth in goals (18). Schuster scored at least one goal in every conference game and posted at least four points in five of those games. In a 19-9 win over New England College on April 11, Schuster reached 100 career points. After three seasons, Schuster has 120 points on 95 goals and 25 assists.  

As a sophomore: Schuster was named to the All-NAC Second Team after an impressive sophomore campaign. She was second on the team with 58 points, 52 goals and 64 draw controls. Schuster recorded a remarkable six game-winning goals in the Chargers' 10 victories. She also led the team with 41 caused turnovers and ranked 50th in the nation with 2.41 per game. Schuster tied Lavigne for the team lead with 54 ground balls. Schuster ranked sixth in conference games with 30 goals and tied for fourth in all games. She also ranked in the top-10 of the conference in several other categories including points (8th, 35), ground balls (7th, 33), draw controls (5th, 41) and caused turnovers (4th, 27). Schuster was named NAC Player of the Week once in 2017.   

As a freshman: Schuster started in half of her 14 appearances in 2016. She collected seven points on four goals and three assists. Her first collegiate goal came on March 12 against Worcester State. Schuster was fourth on the team with 18 draw controls. 

At Hopkinton: Sierra played field hockey for the Hawks. She was a twin-state nominee, the top scorer on the team and second high scorer in the division. She helped the team to a runner-up finish in states.
