Biography

AT COLBY-SAWYER
2022:
Tompkins finished her senior season starting all 17 games for the Chargers with 24 goals, 10 assists, 53 ground balls, 22 caused turnovers and 105 draw controls. Caroline dominated the draw for Colby-Sawyer this year ranking fourth in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) and first on the team in draw controls (105). Tompkins had a career-high four goals at Lasell University on March 2nd to go along with seven ground balls, three caused turnovers and 10 draw controls. Tompkins added a big game on March 26th with three goals, two assists, two ground balls, a caused turnover and 10 draws in a 16-10 Charger win. 

2021: Tompkins started all four games in the 2021 shortened season scoring four goals to go along with two assists, 12 ground balls, five caused turnovers and seven draw controls. Caroline had a pair of goals on April 7th versus Norwich University to go with three caused turnovers and two ground balls. 

2020: Tompkins was fourth on the team with six points in four games in the shortened 2020 season. One of her goals was the game-winner to help the team to a 13-6 victory at Salem State in the season opener. She added the second most draw controls with seven. Tompkins was named to the GNAC All-Academic Team for the second year in a row. 

2019: Tompkins made an immediate impact on the Chargers' lineup as she played and started in all 17 of the team's games. She notched her first collegiate point with a goal in the season opening victory over Saint Joseph (CT). She finished the year with four points on three goals and an assist. Tompkins ranked fifth on the team with 39 ground balls, fourth with 19 draw controls, and third with 22 caused turnovers. 

PRIOR TO COLBY-SAWYER: Graduate of Marblehead High School. Tompkins earned varsity letters in field hockey and sailing for the Magicians. She was team MVP and an NEC and Salem News All-Star.
