Biography

As a senior: Maynard started once in 13 appearances. 

As a junior: Maynard played in 18 games. In the first game of the season, Maynard grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds.

As a sophomore: Maynard appeared in 17 games in 2015-16. He recorded career highs of six points and four assists in a pair of games against Castleton. 

As a freshman: Matt saw action in six games in his first season with the Chargers. 

At Rice: Maynard was a basketball and football athlete for the Knights. He was a member of the basketball state championship teams in 2013 and 2014. Matt was named North/South and Twin State in 2014. He was named First Team All-State four times and All-Division three times in football.
