Biography

As a senior: Ramsay claimed her second-straight NEAC East Player of the Year award. The senior co-captain ended her career as Colby-Sawyer's all-time leader in career wins (128), career doubles wins (71) and career singles wins (57). She went 15-7 overall and 6-0 in NEAC play at the top singles flight. She was named NEAC East Player of the Week four times and was honored by the ECAC as Co-Player of the Month for September. She remarkably finishes her NEAC career with a perfect 23-0 singles record and a 24-0 record in doubles. Ramsay was named the 2015 NEAC East Division Tournament MVP. 

As a junior: Ramsay, a team captain in 2014-15, was selected as the NEAC East Division Women's Tennis Player of the Year after leading the Chargers at the No. 1 position for both singles and doubles. She also garnered All-NEAC Singles First Team and All-NEAC Doubles First Team accolades. Ramsay finished the season with a 13-6 overall record from the first singles position in the team's lineup, which included a 5-0 record in conference action. She also went 15-8 overall and 5-0 in conference play at the No. 1 doubles position. She was tabbed NEAC East Player of the Week four times and was named NEAC East Division Tournament MVP after helping Colby-Sawyer secure its third-straight division crown. The junior won all four of her matches during the semifinals and championship at the top flight of singles and doubles. Ramsay now has 93 victories ranking her fifth all-time. She is tied for fourth with 51 doubles wins and tied for eighth with 42 singles wins.  

As a sophomore: 
Ramsay continued to be a dominant force for the Chargers. She went 30-8 in all matches (14-5 singles, 17-4 doubles). She did not drop a match in conference play as she was 5-0 at No. 2 singles and 5-0 at No. 1 doubles. Ramsay was named to the All-NEAC Singles First Team and Doubles First Team. She also earned to Player of the Week awards and was named NEAC East Tournament MVP. 

As a freshman: Ashlyn had an impressive first season with the Chargers highlighted by being named NEAC East Division Rookie of the Year. She also was named NEAC Singles First Team, NEAC Doubles Team, and NEAC East Division All-Tournament. Ashlyn led the team with 15 singles wins, which is the second highest single season total all-time. She added 19 doubles wins, which is also the second most in a season. 

At Northwestern Regional: Ashlyn was tennis team captain for three years.

Personal: Daughter of Tim and Heidi. Has a brother named Bryce. Ashlyn is a Public Health major.
