Biography

As a junior: James, a co-captain, played and started in all 25 of the team's games last season. He averaged seven points per contest and was third on the team with four rebounds per game.

As a sophomore: James appeared in every game for the Chargers, while earning the start in one. He averaged 5.1 points and 4.1 boards per game. James had a 51.4 shooting percentage, which was second best on the team. His break out game came at 7th ranked Middlebury on Jan. 7. He registered career-highs in points (17) and rebounds (13) in the 86-76 upset victory. 

As a freshman: Tobin played in all 28 games in his first year, averaging 3.4 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. He scored a season-high 15 points at Castleton on January 15 in 20 minutes. Tobin recorded his first double-double on February 21 at Western New England. He scored 11 points and grabbed a season-high 12 rebounds.
At Hollis-Brookline: Tobin helped lead his team to back-to back 15-3 records, including a Regular Season Championship in 2007-07 and a State Runner-up finish in 2007-08. Tobin was given the Leadership Award and was the team leader in assists two straight seasons. His senior year he was named captain and was a First-Team All-State selection.
Personal: Son of James and Susan Tobin. Has a younger brother named Miles. Majoring in Sport Management with a minor in Business Administration.
