Biography

As a senior: Willis exits Colby-Sawyer as the all-time leader in career assists with 493. He started in every game in 2012-13 and had 136 assists. Willis was named to the NAC Second Team after leading the conference in assist to turnover ratio at 3.4 and found himself in the top five in the country in that category. He was second in the NAC with 94 assists in conference games. 

As a junior: Corey earned the start in 18 of his 26 appearances in 2011-12. He was second on the team with 100 assists and moved into 7th on the all-time list with 357 for his career. He logged 20 minutes per game and added 4.5 points per contest. 

As a sophomore: Corey started in the 24 games he appeared in as the team's point guard. He was fourth on the team with 7.5 points per game, while setting his teammates up 99 times to lead the team. Willis moved into ninth place in all-time career assists with 257 at season's end. Corey averaged 29.5 minutes per game, which was third most on the team.

As a freshman: Corey earned the starting nod as the point guard in his first season. He started all 27 games and averaged the second most minutes on the team with 30.7 per game. Corey also averaged 7.1 points and 2.6 rebounds per contest. His 5.9 assists per game was tops among all TCCC players and ranked him 15th in the nation. Willis poured in a career-high 17 points against Norwich (12/12/09) and dished out 10 assists at 10th ranked Williams (1/4/10). He also tied a school record with seven steals versus Randolph on Dec. 29. 

At St. Sebastian’s: Willis played point guard for St. Sebastian’s. He helped his team to a 15-8 record in his senior year and an ISL semifinals appearance. He received ISL honorable mention accolades in 2007 and was nominated to the All-ISL Team in 2008. Willis is a National Honor Society member.
Personal: Son of Douglas and Cindy Willis. Has a brother named Ryan and a sister named Shannon. He is majoring in Exercise and Sport Sciences.
