Orlando, FL – The Colby-Sawyer men's tennis team begins their spring break matches in Orlando on Monday. The Chargers will play against George Fox University and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
The Chargers have a record of 3-2 this season. They most recently beat the University of Hartford 7-0. Peyton Meuse (Newport, NH) and Zsombor Homonnay (Budapest, Hungary) won at #1 doubles 6-0. Jacob Riis (Vineyard Haven, MA) won at #5 singles 6-0, 6-0.
The George Fox Bruins are 4-5 on the season. Aiden Cruz won at #5 singles in the Bruins' last match.
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Blugolds are 4-3 on the season. Pablo Rincon won at #1 singles for the Blugolds in the last game.
The Historical Matchup:
This will be the first time that the Chargers play George Fox University and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Looking Ahead:
On Tuesday, the Chargers will play Edgewood College at 8am.
