MEN'S TENNIS BEATS GORDON IN TOUGH CNE MATCH-UP

Hanover, NH – The Chargers improved to 2-0 in CNE action on Wednesday after winning 4-3 against Gordon College at the Dartmouth Boss Center.

Rapid Recap:

Zsombor Homonnay (Budapest, Hungary) and Peyton Meuse (Newport, NH) won at #2 doubles 6-2, which helped the Chargers win the doubles point.

Oliver Gore (Southend by the Sea, United Kingdom) won 6-3, 6-0 at #4 singles to give the Chargers another point. Max Biedermann (Stowe, VT) won by default at #6 singles.

Homonnay played at #2 singles and won the first set 6-0. The second set was won by Santiago Diaz to force a third set. Homonnay won 6-2 in the third set to clinch another Charger point and help the Chargers win the match 4-3.

Up Next:

On Saturday, the Chargers travel to Dudley, Massachusetts to play Nichols College in CNE conference play. Saturday's match will be a repeat of the 2025 CNE men's tennis championship game.
