Colby-Sawyer College Athletics

New London, NH – The Chargers played against Wentworth Institute of Technology on Wednesday at the Kelsey Courts. 

Rapid Recap: 

• Peyton Meuse (Newport, NH) and Zsombor Homonnay (Budapest, Hungary) won 6-0 at #2 doubles for the Chargers. Colby-Sawyer won at #3 doubles with the pair of Jacob Riis (Vineyard Haven, MA) and Caiden McManus (Wallingford, CT). The Chargers won at #1 doubles with the pair of Ashton Meuse (Newport, NH) and Oliver Gore (Southend by the Sea, United Kingdom). The Chargers won the doubles point. 

• Riis and Max Biedermann (Stowe, VT) won at #6 and #5 singles respectively. 

• Homonnay won for the Chargers at #2 singles 6-0, 6-4. 

• Peyton Meuse and Gore won at #4 and #3 singles respectively. 

• The Chargers won the match 6-1. 

Up Next: 

The Chargers will host a first round match of the CNE tournament on Saturday, when the team hosts Gordon College at 2pm.
