Box Score 2 Orlando, FL – The Colby-Sawyer men's tennis team played three matches on Tuesday in Orlando, Florida. Tuesday marked the first day that the Chargers played matches during their spring trip. The Chargers played against Edgewood College, George Fox University, and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

The Chargers started the day with an 8:30am match with Edgewood College. The Chargers won all three doubles games to win the doubles point. Zsombor Homonnay (Budapest, Hungary) and Peyton Meuse (Newport, NH) won 6-1 at #1 doubles.

Homonnay won at #1 singles 6-0, 6-1. At #2 singles, Max Biedermann (Stowe, VT) earned a point for the Chargers by winning the match in consecutive sets 6-1, 6-2.

At #4 singles, Oliver Van Hattum (Bunnik, Netherlands) won 6-4, 6-3. Caiden McManus (Wallingford, CT) won 6-4, 6-2 at #5 singles. The Chargers won the match 5-2.

The last match of the day for the Chargers was against the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire at 6:30pm. Oliver Gore (Southend by the Sea, United Kingdom) and Ashton Meuse (Newport, NH) won 6-4 at #2 doubles, but the Blugolds won the doubles point.

The Chargers play two matches on Wednesday. In the morning, they will play the University of Scranton. Later in the day, the Chargers will play Franklin & Marshall College.
