FARQUHAR NAMED TO NFHCA ALL-REGION TEAM AFTER HISTORIC SOPHOMORE YEAR

NEW LONDON, N.H. - Wednesday morning, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association named the Division III All-Region teams featuring a Colby-Sawyer Sophomore receiving a nod to the Region 1 Second Team, marking her second time making the All-Region team.

Brooke Farquhar (Gorham, Maine) can add another accolade to her already impressive career as a Charger. In just her second year, Farquhar was able to take an offensive jump to help the team finish as runners up in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference this past Fall. Brooke put in 28 goals over 19 games during the 2025 season, putting her 4th in the nation for goals per game with 1.47. She would also finish fourth in the whole nation in points per game with 3.63, trailing the statistical champion by .14. 

Farquhar not only finished a top the leader boards for the nation, but would also become a program record holder in multiple statistics in just her Sophomore year. Brooke is now the program career leader in points, assists, and tied for career goals. Not only that, but Farquhar also broke the single season record for points and goals during the 2025 season with 28 goals, and 13 assists, leading to 69 points. 

In 2024, Brooke became the fourth member in program history to be named to the NFHCA All-Region team after receiving First Team honors in just her first year. In 2025, Farquhar now becomes the third player in program history to be named to two All-Region teams.
