Arlington, N.Y. – The Colby-Sawyer men's basketball team played against SUNY Geneseo in the Hochberg Family Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday afternoon. 

Rapid Recap: 

• Tobey Bellows scored the first bucket of the game for the Chargers to make the score 3-2 for SUNY Geneseo. Tevin Edmonds, Andrew Blunt (Alexandria, VA), and Elijah Thomas (Fairfax, VA) all made threes, as they would trail 19-15. Bellows would score a three with about seven minutes left in the first half. SUNY Geneseo would lead 47-33 at the half. 

• Blunt and Thomas would both make threes to make the score 56-41. With about ten minutes to go, the Chargers would keep up the pressure as Thomas would score the next seven points for the Chargers. With under four minutes to go, Dominic Rodriguez and Derek Mendez would both drain threes. Suny Geneseo would go on to win the game. 

Inside the Numbers: 

• Thomas led the Chargers with 13 points and two steals. 

• Blunt finished the game with 11 points. 

• Sean Peterson (Chester, NH) led the Chargers with eight rebounds. 

• The Chargers scored 20 points in the paint. 

Up Next: 

The Chargers will travel to Framingham, Massachusetts to play Framingham State University on Tuesday at 6pm.
