KAY'LEE ANNOUCEMENT

Kay'lee Justice to Coach Colby-Sawyer's First Softball Squad

NEW LONDON, N.H. — Director of Athletics Jen McKillop announced that Kay'lee Justice is the inaugural head women's softball coach at Colby-Sawyer College.

"We are excited to welcome Kay'lee," said McKillop. "It was evident during the interview process that she embodies Charger values and that she is a seasoned recruiter. She will continue to build the relationships needed to begin the softball program."

Justice, who grew up in Suffolk, Virginia, has experience as both a college player and coach.

She began her collegiate career at Richard Bland College of William & Mary in Virginia, where she earned all-conference honors and led the Statesmen to two of their most successful seasons in history.

Justice completed her playing career at West Virginia University Institute of Technology, where she majored in athletic coaching education. She then transitioned to coaching at her alma mater. In her last season with the Golden Bears, she brought in their largest-ever recruiting class and the team hit a program-best 38 home runs.

She also founded Fahrenheit Softball Academy, which she built into a top softball training facility in the region.

Justice chose to coach at Colby-Sawyer because of the unique opportunity to build a program.

In October, CSC announced that it would add varsity softball and men's lacrosse to its DIII athletic portfolio. McKillop said the sports would be a tremendous benefit for student-athletes and for the whole campus community.
