NEW LONDON, N.H. - The Colby-Sawyer women's soccer team saw
Lauren Ardolino,
Gabriela Calidonio,
Lauren McKee, and
Sophie Nadeau named for their success in the classroom by College Sports Communicators as Academic All-District members.
The all-district teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on their respective playing surfaces and in the classroom. To be eligible for the honor student-athletes need to maintain at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA, have participated in at least 90 % of their team's contests or started 66 % of their team's matches.
Ardolino, a senior Crime and Legal Studies major, played in all 20 games this season, recording 1730 minutes abd was the team's leading goal scorer with 7 goals. Ardolino would record her best game against Dean College where she had two goals and an assist.
Calidonio, a senior Nursing major, appeared in 16 games this year in net with 92 saves. Calidonio would have her best game against Saint Joseph (Conn.) where she recorded 14 saves in the 1-1 tie.
McKee, a senior Nursing major, appeared in 19 games this season and recorded 1 goal and 4 assists in 1424 minutes of action. McKee would have her best game against New England College where she recorded a goal and an assist.
Nadeau, a senior Health Science major, appeared in 16 games this season logging 1410 minutes as a defensive anchor for the Chargers.
