Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

CHARGERS FALL SHORT AGAINST THE FALCONS

NEW HAVEN, CONN. - The Colby-Sawyer men's soccer team comes up short against the Albertus Magnus Falcons on Saturday afternoon.

Rapid Recap:
  • The Chargers tallied 16 shots off in the game led by Sophomore, Kaden Lewis (Lunenburg, Mass.), Senior captain, Ryan Wilson (Mattapoisett, Mass.), and First Year Rashad Ortiz-Peck (Montpelier, Vt.) who recorded three shots each in the game. Lewis and Ortiz-Peck put two shots on target in an attempt to find the back of the net.
  • Junior goalkeeper, Yener Bartolon (West Palm Beach, Fla.) recorded nine total saves in the game to hold the Falcons to just one goal in the game that was not scored until late in the second half. 
  • The Chargers defense did not offer a lot of chances for the Falcons that helped push the game to a tie going into half time and a majority of the second half, while the Chargers also recorded nine corner kicks on the game to give themselves a chance.

The Chargers will travel to Massachusetts for another conference match up as they take on Dean College.
