NORTHFIELD, VT. - The Colby-Sawyer women's cross country team took a short trip to Northfield, VT. as Norwich University hosted the GNAC Championship Saturday afternoon. After multiple personal bests, the Chargers would come out on top for the fifth year in a row with 53 points.

- Junior, Adriana Nadeau (Londonderry, N.H.) led the way for the Chargers putting in an amazing effort for second overall just three seconds behind the winner, as Nadeau finished with a time of 23:51 in the women's 6k.
- Senior, Samantha Carus (Brownfield, Maine) was the next Charger across the line finishing seventh overall in a time of 25:30.
- Sophomore, Maisy Hill (Bristol, Vt.)Â was the third Charger across the line picking up a thirteenth place finish crossing the line in a new personal best time of 26:25.
- Junior, Leah O'Neill (Peabody, Mass.) was not too far behind Hill as she finished fourteenth overall crossing the line in a time of 26:31.
- Freshman, Lenah Hellerich (Tolland, Conn.) rounded out the Chargers top 5 as she came across the line with a new personal best finishing the course in 26:40 for a seventeenth place finish.
- Senior, Tessa Millette (Barrington, N.H.) brought a strong race herself finishing 21st overall and crossing the line as the sixth Charger of the day.
- Junior, Quinn Aldrich (New Ipswich, N.H.) would round out the top seven as she finished 34th overall as she crossed the line in 28:20.
- Junior, Emma Mullen was the final Charger to cross the line as she finished with a time of 29:32.
Inside the Numbers:
- Nadeau and Carus both received first team honors for their performance for the Chargers.
- Maisy Hill and Leah O'Neill both finished on the All-Conference second team.
- This is the 5th straight title for Women's Cross Country as they won every title dating back to Fall of 2019.
