AT COLBY-SAWYER
2022: Carus had another successful season for the Chargers after winning back-to-back GNAC titles. She placed second overall at the conference championship with a time of 24:28.4 earning a spot on the First Team All-Conference. Samantha's best performance this season would be at the 2022 NCAA Divison III East Regionals meet on November 12th finishing 46th overall with a time of 23:47.5. Carus received the honor of being selected to the 2022 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Team. 

2021: Carus was a star for the Chargers in her first year in New London finishing second in the GNAC Cross Country Championships and 38th in the NCAA East Regionals. Samantha had her best 6K time on October 30th in the GNAC Championship finishing with a time of 24:24.7. Carus followed up the performance with the highest overall finish for an individual in program history (38th) at the NCAA Regionals on November 13th with a time of 24:31.9. Carus was later named a U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic Team selection. 

PRIOR TO COLBY-SAWYER: Graduate of Fryeburg Academy, where Carus was a coaches award winner in cross country and track & field, while also being named a team captain.
