BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS - The Colby-Sawyer men's basketball team fell to the Judges of Brandeis University 91-75 on the road Saturday morning.

- The Judges and Chargers trade buckets back and forth early in the first half as senior Chaz Cullum (Omaha, Neb.) made a jumper followed by a made layup by graduate student Michael Joanou (Burbank, Calif.). A made three-pointer by Joanou sparked a 15-3 run for the Chargers with Cullum making the layup followed by a jumper by junior A.J. Muntiganzi (Ontario, Canada), but the Judges responded with a three pointer to cut the Chargers lead to 16-10 with 13:24 left to play. The Judges then went on a 17-2 run late in the half but senior Cha'Mar Martin (Columbia, S.C.) halted the run with a made jumper as the Judges led 24-20 with 9:25 left. The Judges continued to extend their lead and went on a 19-5 run, but junior Sadiq Abdullahi (Homestead, Fla.) responded with a layup followed by a made three-pointer by graduate student Bryson Jenkins (Gary, Ind.) as the Chargers trailed the Judges 50-39 heading into halftime.
- First-year Elijah Thomas (Fairfax, Virginia) started the second half off with nailing a three-pointer followed by Cullum's made jumper to cut the Judges lead to eight points. The Judges responded to the Charger's baskets with back-to-back layups to give them a double-digit lead with 15:35 to play. The Judges held a 14-6 margin over the Chargers with 9:00 minutes left to play with Joanou making a free throw and senior Matthew Einarson (Danville, N.H.) making the layup. The Chargers continued to battle with senior Nick Grant (Houston, Texas) making back-to-back layups with 3:51 left. The Judges continued to pull away with made free throws and layups, as they took the game 91-75.

- Cullum led the way for the Chargers with 24 points (9-19 FG, 6-6 FT), four rebounds, and two steals. Joanou tallied 13 points (5-8 FG, 2-3 3 PT, 1-1 FT) and one rebound while Martin recorded 10 points (1-6 3 PT, 5-5 FT), two rebounds, and one steal.
- Toby Harris led the way for the Judges with 23 points (10-13 FG, 1-2 3 PT, 2-3 FT), 11 rebounds, and three assists while Elias Rodl chipped in 20 points (7-10 FG, 2-2 3 PT, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, and one assist.
- The Judges held 48-32 points in the paint margin while also taking advantage of an 11-8 fast break points margin.
