Rapid Recap:
  • The Chargers brought the offensive pressure early in the first half as first-year Colin Riley-Perec (Plymouth, Mass.) fired two shots on target followed by sophomore Judson Dimaria (Acton, Mass.) firing another shot on target within the first three minutes of the half. Sophomore Kaden Lewis (Lunenburg, Mass.) found the back of the net in the fifth minute to give the Chargers an early 1-0 lead over Mitchell. The Mariners went on the offensive attack with shots of their own but were unsuccessful at finding the net. In the 26th minute, Dimaria would find the back of the net to give the Chargers a 2-0 lead. The Mariners responded five minutes later with a goal as they trailed the Chargers 2-1 heading into the second half.
