Post Game Press:
"It was a really big win for us", said sophomore
Elyza Mitchell (Spofford, N.H.). "We've had a few close games this season and just learning how to win and push through those last two quarters helped us get through it. I am just trying to encourage my teammates and keep that next play mentality."
"I think first of all, a lot of emotions with pur alumni game and getting to celebrate Amy Beaton Burke '07", said head coach
Tim Viola. "I tell our kids it's bigger than us and about celebrating alumni and the legacy she's left with our program and how she's battling now and playing for that. We did that and our team did a good job. It was kinda tough down the stretch but we've talked about finding ways to win games with a young group. Wednesday night coming back from being down 19 and finding a way to hold on tonight and we battled and did what we needed to do down the stretch."
