NASHUA, N.H. – The Colby-Sawyer men's soccer team couldn't hold on Wednesday night ending the match with Rivier with a 1-1 draw. This is the third-consecutive draw for the Chargers.
Rapid Recap:
- The Chargers started out flying getting the first two opportunities on the Raider in the first 15 minutes. Junior Ryan Wilson (Mattapoisett, Mass.) and first year Judson DiMaria (Acton, Mass.) each had opportunities that were stopped by Dominic Cunha. Rivier also had two opportunities early with sophomore Yener Bartolon (West Palm Beach, Fla.) making a single save. In the 37th minute the Chargers opened the scoring as first year David Herrara (Kissimmee, Fla.) found DiMaria for the score to give the visitors a 1-0 lead heading into the break.
- The Raiders had the next big opportunity in the 57th minute, but Bartolon made a big save to hold the lead. In the 68th minute Bartolon took a shot of his own that was saved by Sean Seeley. Rivier battled back to even the score in the 87th minute as Jayden Medlin finished a cross from Drew Sacca to earn the tie.

- DiMaria added his second collegiate goal, while Herrera added his second assist of the year.
- Bartolon registered five saves in the tie.
- Both teams each launched 11 shots with the Raiders owning a 6-4 on target differential.
