HENNIKER, N.H. - First Year
Kaden Lewis (Lunenburg, Mass.) evened the score Wednesday to bring the Charger to their first conference draw.
Rapid Recap:
- The Chargers started off quick with shots from sophomore Bradon Meija (West Palm Beach, Fla.), first year David Herrara (Kissimmee, Fla.), and Junior Ryan Wilson (Mattapoisett, Mass.). The Pilgrims would respond quickly with a shot from Logan Cassin, followed by a goal from Santiago Sanchez from William Scala. This would ignite a series of shots from the Chargers with two shots on goal from first year Kaleb Call (South Jordan, Utah) and Meija. The Chargers would finally connect with a fast break goal from Lewis fed from first year Judson DiMaria (Acton, Mass.).
- The second half was quiet from scoring but full of shots from both sides of the field. The Chargers would register five shots coming from, first year Cullen Visscher (Katy, Texas), Lewis, Ryan WIlson and first year Brayden Rapoza (New Durham, N.H.). The Pilgrims would register nine shots with five on target. Sophomore keeper Yener Bartolon (West Palm Beach, Fla.) would finalize the night making two back-to-back saves to keep the score even.

"When we came to the field, we had a winning attitude for this game", said first year
Kaden Lewis (Lunenburg, Mass.). "First half we were a little more aggressive than second. I received a great pass from Judson, which resulted in me scoring, and going into half time 1-1. We were pressing second half, and had some shots on goal. Unfortunately nothing fell for us. Yener made an excellent save the last second of the game,which ended in a tie."
Inside the Numbers:
- Lewis registered his second collegiate goal with the equalizer while DiMaria picks up his first collegiate assist.
- Bartolon notched five saves on the evening with one goal against.
- The Chargers out shot the Pilgrims 21-15 with a 9-6 on target differential.

The Chargers will host conference opponent Mitchell on Saturday September 23rd for an 11:00AM kick off.
