NEW LONDON, N.H. – The Colby-Sawyer men's basketball dropped a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) contest to Emmanuel College by a 82-65 final.

- The Chargers and Saints traded baskets with Colby-Sawyer taking an early 5-4 advantage after a three-pointer by senior Scott Lampron (Concord, N.H.). The lead grew to 12-6 after five-consecutive points by senior Omar Boone (Colorado City, Texas). The lead grew to 19-12 after another 5-0 spurt capped off by senior Terrence Harvey Jr. (Atlanta, Ga.). The Saints countered on a 8-0 run halted by five-straight points by senior Zack Caraballo (Salem, N.H.). The Chargers continued to lead after another 5-0 advantage after a layup by senior Conor Kelly (Charlestown, Mass.) and a three by sophomore Kevin Cummings (Portsmouth, N.H.). Emmanuel cut the deficit to 33-30, but the home team continued to punch back with a 7-0 run highlighted by threes by Cummings and Lampron. Another run by the Saints cut the game to 40-34, but another 6-0 response by the Chargers with a pair of buckets by first year Sadiq Abdullahi (Homestead, Fla.) gave the home team a 46-34 lead heading into the second half.
- The Saints opened the second half strong with a 9-4 advantage to cut the deficit to seven points. Lampron and Boone put Colby-Sawyer back up by a 55-45 margin but another 9-0 counter by the Saints had the game to a single point. Emmanuel continued to roll picking up a 63-57 lead stopped by a jumper by Cummings. The game was back within a single bucket after back-to-back jumpers by Boone and Caraballo. The Saints responded with a big 12-0 advantage to put the game out of reach, winning by a 82-65 margin.
Notes & Notables:
- Kelly had a complete game for the Chargers with 10 points (5-9 FG, 0-1 3-FG), eight rebounds and five assists. Lampron led the scoring for Colby-Sawyer with 15 points (6-9 FG, 2-4 3-FG, 1-2 FT) to go with four rebounds and a pair of steals. Boone registered 12 points (4-10 FG, 1-2 3-FG, 3-4 FT), four rebounds and two assists, while Cummings added 10 points (4-10 FG, 2-5 3-FG), three rebounds and two assists.
- Bryant Ciccio led the Saints with 19 points (7-12 FG, 5-7 3-FG), four assists and a steal. Ryan Grijalva added 19 points (7-14 FG, 2-4 3-FG, 3-3 FT), three rebounds and three assists.
