NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Colby-Sawyer women's lacrosse skid continues as the Chargers have lost three of their last four Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) games falling to the Norwich University Cadets by a 18-13 final on Wednesday night.

Norwich continued the fast open tallying two more scores now leading 4-1. Sophomore Olivia Romo (Marlboro, Vt.) tried to spark the Chargers offense again throwing a shot into the back of the net. Senior Caroline Tompkins (Marblehead, Mass.) followed it up with a free position goal to get the Chargers within a single goal with 4:36 remaining in the first quarter. The Cadets closed strong registering two more goals giving the home team a three goal lead heading into the second.
- Two more quick goals for Norwich and the Chargers saw a four goal deficit, before Romo started a 3-0 run with a free position strike. Junior Sydney Stevens (Laconia, N.H.) and Hanson added the other scores to get the Chargers within 8-6. The Cadets extended the lead again with a pair more before Hanson finished her hat-trick to end first half scoring.
- Reigning GNAC rookie of the week first year Sophia Kuhlthau (Cheshire, Conn.) got the Chargers first goal of the second half to trim the Cadets lead to 11-8, but Norwich responded with a pair of goals. Hanson scored again at the 3:28 mark of the third, but the lead stayed at five goals heading into the final frame.
