WORCESTER, MASS. – The Colby-Sawyer Chargers men's basketball dropped a contest to Division I opponent Holy Cross on Saturday by a 95-61 final.

- The Chargers took a brief 4-2 lead as senior Terrence Harvey Jr. (Atlanta, Ga.) knocked home the elbow jumper after a senior Conor Kelly (Charlestown, Mass.) layup. The Crusaders countered with a 10-0 run stopped by a triple by senior Scott Lampron (Concord, N.H.). Another shot from deep by senior Zack Caraballo (Salem, N.H.) gpt the visitiors within 14-11, but Holy Cross took charge again expanding the lead to 16 points after an impressive 15-2 run. Sophomore Kevin Cummings (Portsmouth, N.H.) knocked down his first triple of the day to start a closing 13-8 run for the Chargers with some big buckets coming from junior Kadir Arca (Istanbul, Turkey), but a half-court buzzer beater by the Crusaders kept the game at 46-28 heading into the break.
- In the second half the Chargers got the lead down to 15 after Harvey Jr. knocked home a triple and Arca finished a layup in the paint. The lead stayed at 15 after Lampron and senior Omar Boone (Colorado City, Texas) knocked down consecutive three-pointers answering Crusader buckets. Holy Cross expanded the lead to 25 next slowly building it up over a five minute stretch. The Chargers countered with six-straight points led by four points by Kelly. The Crusaders grew the lead furthermore to 85-54 en route to the big victory.

- Lampron led the scoring for the Chargers with 11 points (4-6 FG, 3-4 3-FG, 5-6 FT), to go along with two steals, two rebounds and a pair of assists. Kelly was the only other Charger in double-figures with 10 points (4-5 FG, 2-2 FT). Boone registered eight points (3-15 FG, 1-4 3-FG, 1-2 FT), six rebounds and four blocks, while Harvey Jr. added eight points (3-6 FG, 1-2 3-FG, 1-2 FT), five rebounds and a pair of helpers.
- Bo Montgomery led the Crusaders with 17 points (7-12 FG, 3-5 3-FG), five rebounds and five assists.
- Holy Cross shot 52.8% (38-72) from the floor, while also knocking down 53.8% (14-26) from behind the arc. Colby-Sawyer shot 37.7% (23-61) from the field while shooting 38.1% (8-21) from deep. The Crusaders dominated the paint with a 48-26 point differential over the Chargers.
