NEW LONDON, N.H.– The Colby-Sawyer men's cross-country team hosted the third annual Charger Invitational on Saturday morning to kick off their season. First-year
Dylan Flewelling (Oakland, Maine) was the top finisher for the Chargers with a time of 16:53.20.
Plymouth State University finished in first with 34 points, followed by the University of Maine-Farmington in second with 40 points. Norwich University came in third with 89 points, followed by Colby-Sawyer in fourth and Saint Joseph's College of Maine in fifth.
Senior
Brendan Sullivan (Wellesley, Mass.) came in 17
th place after finishing the New London course with a time of 18:05.90.
First-year
Martin Steucek (Ashburnham, Mass.) earned himself a top 25 finish after running a time of 18:41.90. The time was good enough for 22
nd.
First-year
Daniel Magill (Billerica, Mass.) finished five places behind Steucek after running a time of 18:52.50.
Senior
Spencer McClary (South Burlington, Vt.) ran a 19:04.00 which was good enough for a 30
th place finish.
The Chargers will return to action on Saturday, September 18 at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational.
