Nashua, N.H.– The Colby-Sawyer College men's soccer team earned their first win of the season in their 5-0 victory over Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) opponent Rivier University on Wednesday night. Junior
Finn Husband produced three of the five total goals, earning himself a hat trick while freshman
Conner McKearin logged the other two.

- The Chargers out shot their opponent in both halves, finishing with 16 total shots, 10 of them being on goal opposed to the Raiders who recorded only four shots, and one being on goal. Top scorer of the match, junior Finn Husband (Elk Rapids, MI) took the initial shot of the match in the eighth minute of the first half. With five worthy attempts, the Chargers went into the second half scoreless.
- Three back-to-back corner kicks opened the gates for the men as Husband scored his second goal of the season off a beautiful cross by first year Jadon Baros (Colorado Springs, CO) who recorded the assist. Less than 20 minutes later, freshman Conner McKearin (Proctor, VT) found the back of the net and scored two unassisted goals in a 45 second span to give the Chargers a 3-0 lead over the Raiders. Within the last 15 minutes of the competition, Husband earned himself a hat trick as he scored the last two goals of the night to send him and his team home victorious. Juniors Jason Brammer (Littleton, N.H.) and captain Nico Adornetto (Sanford, ME) assisted Husband's last two goals.
