NEW LONDON, N.H. – Junior
Scott Lampron (Concord, N.H.) netted a career-high 31 points as the Chargers bested the Pilgrims by a 88-77 final.

- Colby-Sawyer's defense stole the show early holding New England College to 22 points overall in the first half. The offense was sparked by a 22-0 run with junior Omar Boone (Colorado City, Texas) being an ample part with a pair of triples and a block.
- The lead jumped up to 24 as Lampron connected on one of his five threes. and the lead was 22 heading into the break at 44-22.
- In the second half the Pilgrims started to chip away dropping the lead to only 55-42 with just over 11 minutes remaining.
- With under four minutes remaining a quick 9-0 run had the game at three points before Lampron added five points following Boone free throws to get the lead back to 10 and end the hopes of a comeback.

"I want to give a lot of credit to my teammates", said Lampron. "They did such a tremendous job tonight kicking out to finding open shooters. I had been slumping a bit the past couple of games so finding the bottom of the net was great and just shooters shoot."
Notes & Notables:
- Lampron finished with a career-high 31 points (10-14 FG, 5-8 3-PT, 6-8 FT), while also having six rebounds and three steals.
- Junior Conor Kelly (Charlestown, Mass.) brought the defensive energy with nine points (3-6 FG, 3-4 FT) a career-high 16 rebounds and also dished out five assist.
- Boone added 18 points (7-14 FG, 2-2 3-PT, 2-3 FT) and four rebounds, while first year Kevin Cummings (Portsmouth, N.H.) totaled 14 points (5-9 FG, 3-7 3-PT, 1-2 FT) and five rebounds.
- The Chargers shot an impressive 50% (29-58) from the field while also knocking down 47.7% (11-23) from deep.
- Jamal Allen and Calvin Cheek paced the Pilgrims scoring 21 points and 17 points respectfully.
