Men’s Cross Country places 18th/23 in Suffolk Invitational

NEW LONDON, N.H.- The men's cross-country team raced at Franklin Park on Saturday afternoon in a preview of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship race. The Charger's varsity team placed 18^th out of 23 teams and was the top school in the GNAC Conference.

Rapid Recap:

The Chargers were led by first-year, Dylan Flewelling (Oakland, Maine). Flewelling crossed the line with an 8k time of 29:06, placing 83^rd out of 225 runners with an average time of 5:51.4 a mile.
Next up was first-year, Haven Deschenes (Peterborough, NH). Deschenes crossed the line of the course at 30:05.0 to place 109^th overall.
Senior Brendan Sullivan (Wellesley, MA) finished right behind Deschenes on this great course, clocking in at 30:26.9 to finish 118.
First year Daniel Magill (Billerica, MA) was the next runner for the Chargers, putting in a great performance with a time of 31:35.3.
Rounding out the Chargers' top 5 was first-year Martin Steucek (Ashburnham, Mass.) Steucek put in a time of 31:43.3.

UP NEXT:

The Chargers will return for the GNAC Championship on October 30th.
