NEW LONDON, N.H.. - The Chargers dropped their second Great Northeastern Athletic Conference (GNAC) game in the past 48 hours as Simmons University defeated Colby-Sawyer by a 3-0 final.

- The Chargers had their best showing of the night in the first set as first year Ally Majenski (Marshfield, Mass.) notched three kills while junior Ameesah Cotten (Newburgh, N.Y.) added a pair of kills. Colby-Sawyer would drop the set after the Sharks used a 10-2 run to give them a 19-10 advantage over home team.
- Simmons University led by a 18-14 advantage before controlling the rest of the set on a 7-0 advantage to take a 2-0 set lead.Â
- In the third stanza junior Olivia Werner (Williston, VT.) and Majenski tallied the only kills for the Chargers as the Sharks cruised to a win on straight sets.
