Eric Leclerc joins MacPhail's staff for his first year as Assistant Coach with a wealth of volleyball expertise and over three decades of competitive experience in the New England region.
Leclerc’s collegiate coaching resume includes dual roles at Fitchburg State University, where he served as the Head Coach for the Men's Club Volleyball program (2025–2026) and as the Assistant Coach for the Women's Volleyball team during the Fall 2025 season.
At the club level, Leclerc has been a driving force at Deep Volleyball Club in Nashua, New Hampshire, since 2018, serving as the Head Coach for the highly competitive Girls "Open" Level teams. His foundational coaching career was built in Dracut, Massachusetts, where he spent six seasons (2018–2024) pulling double duty as both the Head Girls Junior Varsity Coach and the Assistant Varsity Coach for both the boys' and girls' programs at Dracut High School.
A passionate advocate for grassroots sports development, Leclerc also served as the Director of Dracut Recreational Volleyball from 2016 to 2020 and spent nearly a decade coaching girls' youth recreational softball (2010–2019).
An active competitor on the court, Leclerc brings 33 years of non-collegiate league playing experience throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. His extensive background as a setter and libero provides him with a deep tactical understanding of floor defense, elite ball control, and offensive distribution—assets he directly passes on to the student-athletes he trains.
