NEW LONDON, N.H. - February 4, 2020 - Colby-Sawyer senior Lexie Hamilton (Sunapee, N.H.) has been honored by the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) and Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC). Hamilton was named GNAC Player of the Week and to the NEWBA Honor Roll.

Hamilton nearly averaged a triple double in a 1-1 week for the Chargers. The senior guard finished with 16.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 9.5 assists per game. She began the week with 18 points, eight rebounds and five assists in a tough 58-52 loss to Emmanuel. Hamilton then recorded her second career triple-double of 15 points, 14 assists and 11 rebounds in a 76-61 win over Anna Maria.

Colby-Sawyer (13-6, 3-3 GNAC) plays at Regis on Tuesday before hosting Lasell on Saturday.
