HENNIKER, N.H. - September 26, 2019 - Colby-Sawyer sophomore
Sam Mohammed led all players with 14 kills, but the Chargers fell at New England College, 3-1. The Pilgrims won by scores of 25-17, 13-25, 25-18 and 25-19.
New England College improves to 6-8, while the Chargers drop to 8-9. Colby-Sawyer hosts Simmons on Saturday for an important Great Northeast Athletic Conference match.
Mohammed hit .293 to finish with 14 kills. She added 17 digs.
Naarah Cox was second on the team with six kills and added a pair of solo blocks and four block assists.
Morgan Flynn colllected 17 digs, while
Anna Allen tallied 26 assists, 12 digs and four aces.
NEC was led by Dreka Griffin's 11 kills. The Pilgrims also received nine kills from Shirita Wimberly and Tihani Ehia. Wimberly led the team with 22 digs and five aces.
