Colby-Sawyer Athletics

As a senior: Straubel was third on the team with 214 kills and 296 digs. She led the Chargers with 60 aces and ranked third among all GNAC players. She recorded four double-doubles highlighted by a 16-kill, 19-dig performance against Southern Maine on Oct. 30. 

As a junior: Straubel earned 27 starts in 29 appearances in 2018. She was sixth on the team with 80 kills and third with 51 aces. She posted a career-high eight aces in a win over Eastern Nazarene on September 19. Straubel had 10 matches with at least 10 digs and finished fourth on the team with 200. 

As a sophomore: Straubel earned NAC All-Tournament honors after posting 29 digs, 15 kills and four aces in three tournament matches. Straubel also represented Colby-Sawyer on the NAC Sportsmanship Team. She ranked fourth on the team with 132 kills and third with 276 digs. Her best match of the season came against New England College when she posted 16 kills and 17 digs in the Chargers' 3-1 victory. In all matches, Straubel ranked fifth in digs and fifth in digs per set (2.88) among conference players.

As a freshmen: Straubel saw action in eight matches playing in 28 sets. She tallied 28 kills on 107 attempts and added 33 digs and four aces.

At Guilderland: Straubel lettered in volleyball for the Dutchmen. She helped the team to a Suburban Council championship. Straubel was a two-time all-star.
