PROVIDENCE, R.I. - April 2, 2019 - The Colby-Sawyer men's volleyball team dropped a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) match at Johnson & Wales, 3-0, on Tuesday evening. The Wildcats won by scores of 25-21, 25-15 and 25-14.
Colby-Sawyer drops to 10-14 overall and 0-12 in the GNAC. The Chargers will conclude their first season on Saturday with a tri-match at Rivier against the Raiders and Emerson. Johnson & Wales improves to 18-9 overall and 7-4 in conference action.
JWU was led by Dondre Crump's 14 kills Jack Pincince finished with 10 kills, five digs, and two blocks. Cameron Ponce posted 40 assists and five digs.
Colby-Sawyer's
Orlando Plagata tallied 10 kills and six digs.
AJ Gnieski had 22 assists.
Patrick Coffey added five kills, while
Nate Trevino contributed four kills.
Eric Miller registered three kills and six digs.
