NASHUA, N.H. - April 6, 2019 - The Colby-Sawyer men's volleyball team concluded its historic first season with a tri-match at Rivier on Saturday. The Chargers fell to Emerson 3-1 and the host Raiders 3-0.
Colby-Sawyer ends its inaugural season with a 10-16 record.
EMERSON 3, COLBY-SAWYER 1 - 25-20, 23-25, 25-17, 25-12
Orlando Plagata led the Chargers with 13 kills and 10 digs.
AJ Gnieski finished with 30 assists, seven digs and a pair of aces.
Patrick Coffey contributed eight kills, seven digs and four blocks.
Yannick Gonsalves tallied five kills on .308 hitting.
Zach Allen had nine digs.
#13 RIVIER 3, COLBY-SAWYER 0 - 25-2, 25-11, 25-16
The Chargers went up against the 13th ranked team in the country on the Raiders' senior day. Coffey and
Eric Miller led Colby-Sawyer with four kills apiece.
Marc Flaherty collected a kill and a pair of digs.
