NEW LONDON, N.H. – March 27, 2019 – Colby-Sawyer sophomore Julia Lanctot (Sandown, N.H.) has been honored as a 2018 Zag Field Hockey/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Scholar of Distinction.

Lanctot, who earlier this month was named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad, was one of 268 student-athletes in the nation to be recognized as a Scholar of Distinction. She is the second Charger to earn this accolade. Jesse Murch '18 was honored in 2014.

The Division III Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2018-19 academic year.
