PLYMOUTH, N.H. - November 9, 2018 - The Colby-Sawyer women's swimming team had six individual first-place finishes and a pair of relay wins, but Plymouth State won Friday night's meet 155-117.

The team of
Meagan Thomsen,
Kelsey Brown,
Jinnae Jang and
Grace Herde combined for a pair of relay wins. They won the 200 medley in a time of 2:06.28 and the 200 freestyle in a time of 1:53.18.
Jang and Brown led the individual performances on the evening with a pair of wins apiece. Brown took the top spot in the 100 butterfly at 1:04.15 and added a Colby-Sawyer season best time of 6:05.77 in the 500 freestyle. Jang came away with two top times of the season. She clocked in at 26.36 to win the 50 freestyle and then posted a time of 1:04.98 to win the 100 backstroke.
Thomsen had the fastest time in the 50 backstroke to win the event at 31.01. She added a second place finish in the 100 freestyle in a time of 1:03.07.
Zoe Daudier also turned in a pair of great performances. She won the 200 freestyle in a time of 2:18.01 and added a second place in the 100 backstroke at 1:12.66.
The Chargers will have a quick turnaround with a home meet on Saturday against Maine Maritime and Smith.
