BOSTON, Mass. – The Colby-Sawyer women's swimming and diving team fell to both Simmons and the University of New England on Saturday. Simmons defeated the Chargers by a 172-63 final, while the University of New England won by a 194-60 final.
Rapid Recap:
- Sophomore Brandy Lewis (Strafford, Vt.) won all of her individual events 1000 yard freestyle, 50 yard breaststroke, and 500 yard freestyle scoring 18 points for the Chargers. Lewis won the 1000 free at a time of 11:38.22, the 50 breast at a 35.43 time and the 500 yard at a 5:40.75 time.
- Sophomore Tess Kjoller (Osterville, Mass.) had her best showcase of the year with a 186.82 score to capture 1st place.
- First year Rebecca Radonovich (Frederick, Md.) scored nine points on the day overall with a third place finish in the 100 yard butterfly at a time of 1:08.23.

"Today we swam well and looked really strong in the water", said head coach Christina Baudis. "After two weeks of tough training, I am very impressed by their level of speed. We had a few best times! We are a few weeks out from our mid-season invitational and I can't wait to see how we perform then! Go Chargers!"
