BANGOR, Maine – February 27, 2016 – The second seed Colby-Sawyer College men's basketball team fell to top seed Husson University, 94-77 in Saturday's North Atlantic Conference (NAC) championship. The two teams met in last year's final with the Chargers winning in New London.

Colby-Sawyer scored the first four points of the game before a Zach Curran jump shot sparked a 13-4 run as Husson took a 13-8 lead at the 13:00 mark of the first half. The Chargers countered with their own run and retook the lead, 20-19 when Peter Donato made layup from a nice pass from Jourdain Bell with 8:00 remaining. Mitch Worcester capped off a 19-9 run by the Eagles with a three at the buzzer and entered the intermission with a 38-29 advantage.

The Chargers went on an 8-2 run to open up the second half to cut the Husson lead to 40-37 with 16:35 remaining. A two by Raheem Anderson at 16:19, sparked a 12-2 run by the Eagles to extend their lead to ten with 13:02 left in the game, but Butler took over the game the rest way which included seven made threes as Husson pulled away in the closing minutes of the game for the victory.
