NEW LONDON, N.H. - February 24, 2016 – The Colby-Sawyer men's basketball team earned the second seed in the 2015-16 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) tournament and will play third seed Johnson State on Friday, February 26 at 8:00 p.m. in the semifinals.
Top seed Husson will host both semifinals contests on Friday along with the championship on Saturday. The other semifinal game will feature No. 4 Thomas against tournament host Husson on Friday at 6 p.m. Thomas advanced to the semifinals after an 83-65 victory over No. 5 Castleton, 83-65 on Tuesday.

HEREThe Chargers (18-6 overall) claimed the second seed in the conference tournament after posting a 14-4 record in NAC play and earned a bye in Tuesday's quarterfinal round. Colby-Sawyer enters Friday's game having won six straight and eight of its last nine games to finish the regular season.
Colby-Sawyer is led by senior
Peter Donato (Portland, Maine) who averages 21.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. Senior
Wol Majong (Manchester, N.H.) adds 17.3 points per game and has made a team-high 55 three-pointers. Freshman
Jourdain Bell (Manchester, N.H.) is the third Charger in double figures with 10.5 points per game.
Johnson State is led by senior duo Rahim Bunch (Egg Harbor Township, N.J.) and Asim Khan (Torrance, Calif.). Bunch averages 16.4 points and 4.8 assists per game, while Khan scores 13.7 points per game. Junior Benjamin Holl (Philadelphia, Pa.) also scores double digit points with 11.4 points per game.
Colby-Sawyer won both regular season meetings this year. On January 5, the Chargers earned an 83-80 home win and followed with a 92-83 triumph on the road on February 10. The only other time these two teams met in the NAC tournament was the quarterfinal game of the 2011-12 season. Colby-Sawyer won the game 75-69. The Chargers own a 16-1 career mark over the Badgers.
The NAC Men's Basketball Champion will receive an automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship.
