SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - September 26, 2015 - The Colby-Sawyer women's volleyball team concluded play at the Skidmore Classic on Saturday. The Chargers fell to tournament host Skidmore 3-0 and Hamilton 3-2.
The Thoroughbreds won the morning match by scores of 25-21, 25-20 and 25-14.
Freshman
Courtney Murray hit an impressive .455 with six kills and added four total blocks. Sophomore
Alli Lahiff also hit for a high percentage at .353 with seven kills. Freshman
Gabrielle Ratte recorded a double-double of 18 assists and 13 digs. Sophomore
Lexi Strong finished with 17 digs, while
Kelsey McCulley collected a team best nine kills.
In the afternoon match, Hamilton won by scores of 25-15, 22-25, 21-25, 25-14 and 15-5.
McCulley again led the Chargers with a match best 14 kills.
Gabrielle Ratte tallied a match-high 34 assists to go along with seven digs.
Lexi Strong had four aces and 17 digs.
Erin Burgoyne contributed four kills and a pair of blocks.
