Box Score WATERVILLE, Maine - September 29, 2013 - Thomas field hockey came away victorious in an overtime thriller Sunday afternoon in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) game against Colby-Sawyer College (4-6, 0-3 NAC), 5-4. Brittany Premo sparked the come from behind win with two goals and an assist in the second half of play.

After a first-half that saw Colby-Sawyer as the aggressor, the Terriers would change the tempo of the game in the second stanza.

The Chargers took a 1-0 lead on a goal scored by Alexa Comesanas 16-minutes into the first half.  Colby-Sawyer continued their attack after Allyson Mullen took a pass from Hannah Coggins to give the Chargers a 2-0 lead after 20-minutes.

Miranda Tinsman put the Terriers on the board after she dribbled into the circle to find the back of the cage at the 23:52 mark. Colby-Sawyer's Brittany Grandbois gave the Chargers a 3-1 lead at half with a shot just inside the circle assisted by Erika Leach.

Momentum would swing to the Terriers in the second half after Premo picked up her own rebound and found teammate Michelle Greene, who netted in the goal to make the score 3-2. At the 53:58 mark Premo knotted the game at three a piece and three minutes later would strike again to give the Terriers their first lead of the game, 4-3.

The Terrier's Erica Blake and Erin Nelligan stepped up on the defensive end, both coming away with a defensive save in the last ten minutes of the game.

With 24 seconds left in the game, the Charger's Nykki Stritzinger tied the game back at four and would send the contest into overtime.

In overtime, Greene crossed the ball pass the defenders and found Lauren Hachey who netted in the game-winning goal.

Terrier goalkeeper Sofia Sourgiadkis finished the game with three saves in the win, while Jodi Dumayne of the Chargers racked up 12 saves on 17 shots.

The Chargers will try to snap a two-game skid with a non-conference battle at Mercer Field on Saturday at noon.
